DESERT BACKGROUND PLATES
You know what turns out to be amazingly useful? These. When you're experimenting with compositing, sometimes what you really want is just a nice, barren background that is real, but doesn't have a lot of distracting elements. Well, these fill the bill. We shot these at a dry lake in the Mojave, and they are as flat, remote, dark-side-of-the-moon featureless as you will find anywhere. Seriously, they make Tatooine look like Las Vegas. As compositing test backgrounds they are awesome; and who knows -- you may even need a desert landscape at some point. These are high-res still photos -- 4000 x 2248 pixels, so you can enlarge them and slide them around as needed! Free!

AIR RAID SIREN
We found this old soldier still on duty and grabbed a couple of stills, then keyed out the background for you. Fairly high resolution so you can push in on it if needed. Drop it against a background and add some blaring klaxon sounds for a fast cutaway when the attack commences or the reactor begins meltdown. Free!
