Against white, which means that dark dirt, bullet holes, and shadow areas all register. Use "Multiply" or "Luma" to key. (In After Effects, try the EXTRACT key, set on Inverse.) High-quality JPGA Quicktime format.
By the way, if you Luma key these in and then use your Color Balance tool to tint them red, (and then use an untinted Multiply duplicate layer on top) you get pretty sweet blood hits in that powdery "puff" format that's so popular these days. Ooo, and they're FREE!
